Fr Ken was born in Ipswich, Queensland and educated in Brisbane and Townsville, completing his teacher training in 1962.  He taught at Toowong before spending time at Port Moresby and at Wewak in P.N.G.   On his return to Queensland, he served as Principal in a number of Primary schools retiring in February 1998.  He began his ministry training on a part-time basis in 1989, was made Deacon in 1992, and ordained Priest in 1997, completing his B.Th. in June 1998.  He has served in the Parishes of Beaudesert, Jimboomba, Wynnum, and the Southern Gold Coast. He was Area Dean for six years, one of the Archbishop’s Examining Chaplains for 10 years, member of the Professional Standards Board, Synod Secretary and a member and Chairperson of the Anglican Board of Mission Diocesan Committee from 2011 to 2022.  He is retired and lives in the Jimboomba area, but has undertaken locum work at St George (western Queensland), Beaudesert and Mt Tamborine, before again undertaking the Locum position at Beaudesert. He is married to Betty and they have four adult children, two grand-daughters and two great-grandsons.
